AWS DevOps Engineer (Mid-Level)

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic AWS DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. In this mid-level position, you will be responsible for implementing and managing AWS infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring smooth deployments of software applications. You will collaborate with developers and operations teams to streamline processes, enhance system reliability, and drive the successful adoption of DevOps practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure applications on AWS.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in the application environment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and operational efficiency.
• Maintain best practices for cloud security and compliance within the AWS environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, particularly with AWS.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK stack, Datadog).

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar roles
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.*

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Knowledge of databases and data services in AWS (e.g., Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB).
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
